The 3 x 5 Truth

As I contemplate driving across the United States,  to my hometown of Dallas, Texas from New York City,  I realize that there is a Nugget of Truth in the experience of driving a car.


There's a reason the windshield is 3 feet by 5 feet and the rearview mirror is only 3 inches by 5 inches. Glance at, but don’t dwell on the past. Instead focus on what’s in front of you! Besides, your past gets smaller every day, but your future is ahead of you, and it’s much bigger than you think!
