It has always disturbed me to see images of women objectified for advertising purposes, so, when I saw this video I felt compelled to post it. Even though it was done in Canada for a Women and Gender Studies class at the University of Saskatchewan by Sarah Zelinski, Kayla Hatzel and Dylan Lambi-Raine I feel that it is completely relevant to “shocking” us into the realization that women have so much more to offer and are so much more than just SEX!
Women are almost ALWAYS sexualized in a way that puts them in a submissive role to a man. When a man is sexualized in Media…he is portrayed as dominant, sexually superior, and in control.
